BILL NAUGHTON
Bill Naughton is Bolton's most successful writer and achieved world wide success with the film 'Alfie' released in 1966. He wrote stories, books, plays and several films most of which were successful and some of the plays are still performed.
Life from worktown celebrated Bill's life with a festival that ran from November 2017 to July 2018 - details of which you can find in the Archive section of this site.
